So I totally can't apologize for going MIA for a little while because I have the best excuse! This baby boy has us running ragged 24/7, and it is awesome. Yes, we're exhausted and often strung out and sometimes at a loss for how to calm a crying baby, but our hearts are also extremely full.

My fitness is going to be a slow and determined journey back to where I want to be, but it's also on the back burner for the time being. I'm nearly four weeks postpartum and feeling phenomenal-- except for the lack of showers, of course. I bounced back very quickly in my opinion, especially considering the first five days of recovery happened on a cot in a NICU where zero of the medical care was about me. My diet is garbage with some veggies thrown on top, and I am RAVENOUS. As I get closer to being able to workout consistently, I'll be making healthier choices. For now, it is whatever is convenient and easy to get my hands on. After all, it's rare that I even have a free hand.

In the near future, when I get more than five minutes to be able to type it out, I've got a post in mind about avoiding stretch marks during pregnancy. This sounds like a particularly vain post, but I promise I'll give it some substance!
