PERSONALIZED SUPPLEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

Missy began her fitness journey first as a high school softball player, although with very little understanding of the human body or nutrition. After several extremely unhealthy and unhappy years of college, she found herself overweight with no successful plan in sight to get in shape. After taking up running recreationally in 2011, a love for nutrition and properly fueling the body grew. Missy pursued her personal training certification through ISSA in 2015 and began working at a gym in Florida specializing in functional fitness. She gave birth to hers and Marcus's first child in July 2016 and is working to share her newfound knowledge of a healthy pregancy. She is a two-time Tough Mudder, a two-time marathoner, and has completed dozens of half-marathons, 10ks, & 5ks. She successfully completed at least a half marathon in each trimester of pregnancy with a marathon at 7 weeks, a half marathon at 22 weeks, & a 100 mile relay in which she tackled about 17 1/2 miles over 6 different runs at 31 weeks pregnant. She continued training until 38 weeks pregnant and delivered a healthy, 7 pound boy named Rhett at 41 weeks.

Marcus began weight training in high school as a football player but took his physique into his own hands after suffering a tramatic kidney injury in a soccer game. After a month in the hospital for recovery, he began from square one to combat his severe muscle atrophy. Six years later, he is continuing to diversify his training and technique in his own body, while pursuing additional knowledge in physiology and kinetics. Today, Marcus is working towards the field of hospital administration while maintaining his love of fitness and nutrition planning. He is a two-time Tough Mudder whose passion lies in the weight room. He has competed in physique competitions to see what new achievements he can accomplish in his own body. He enjoys writing and adapting meal and fitness plans for those whose goals are either lifestyle-based or stage-focused.
