Me? Come up with a plan?! Never...

So, Marcus kinda detests that I try to plan so much. Detests is probably too strong of a word, but it seems fitting sometimes. Especially if you put me and my family (especially Sarah) together, we all start making plans and changing them constantly and it drives him absolutely nuts! He'd much rather every little thing in life be absolutely spontaneous and you can imagine how crazy that makes me! So yeah-- opposites attract ;)

Any who. I have been a total slacker. Both on trying to blog and honestly with my prenatal fitness lately! I tend to hide away when I feel like I'm not doing what I should, so I'm making a PLAN (imagine that) to combat it. I know I'm going to be 10x more exhausted soon and the heat cannot be my excuse anymore, so each day that I am a "good" little girl and I do something to my prenatal fitness plan, I'm posting on here. Even if I just tell you what I did. That way I'm being more accountable to this blog, and I'm being accountable to mah fitnuzz.

Today: like lots of mornings, I started off early and got myself a tasty protein shake and a Lara bar, and I quickly lost steam as I waited for breakfast to settle enough to go to the park. I knew if I was gonna go, it had to be by like 8:30 or else today's heat advisory was gonna intimidate me to the point of staying indoors. I mean let's be honest-- running at almost 35 weeks pregnant... not easy. Doing it with the heat index around 105+ would be just plain foolish! So delay and dilly dally as I sometimes do, the time came and went and I resigned once again. Boo.

I decided a little sunshine might actually be awesome, so I squeezed into my swimsuit and hopped in the pool. More like giant bathtub because good Lordy was it warm, but oh well it was better than the hot air. I alternated between the chair and pool for about an hour or so listened to Vanessa Merten's Pregnancy Podcast-- which I love by the way. She's very unbiased and just wants you to be informed on everything pregnancy related. In the pool, I did lots of water aerobics-style leg lifts and kicks, and it felt really nice to get some strain off my back.

The sun definitely did me some good, so I came in and started a little circuit to round out my little bit of lower body focus for the day (cause I gotta be looking out for that pelvic floor!).

3x20 glute bridges supersetted with

3x15 fire hydrants on each leg

3x15 goblet sumo squats

4x10 tricep dips with single leg raise supersetted with

4x12 bicep curls

5x:15 side plank-elbow (each side)
